Financing Your Social Programs

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session aims to provide practitioners with a primer on financing options, whether they are working with for-profit or non-profit social organizations. The discussion will first introduce major asset classes in the social finance space, and then delve more deeply into what investors in each of these asset classes are looking for. Participants should also expect to learn more about how investors think about project-level versus organizational-level funding, as well as when to leverage different financing channels. Panelists will share extensive private and social sector investing experience, while bringing significant teaching and academic work to bear on the dialogue. A simple framework summarizing key concepts will also be distributed at the conclusion of the session.
